  1. Trump IS barking mad, and here’s one solution: Article 25, para. 4 of the US Constitution:

“Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.”

Question is – does Pence have the stones?

  2. HAHAHA!

    That’s not happening.

Though, there’s one silver lining if Pence ever does become POTUS: he may be a bigot but he’s not a paranoid narcissist. (Montgomery Countians are experienced in dealing with someone like that, so this will hit pretty close to home)

  3. Well Jake, you’re absolutely right. It won’t happen. It would set an incredible precedent if it did. But it IS an option. As it stands, the Tangerine FuckNozzle is now officially eligible for impeachment since he has ignored court orders to release all those who have been unlawfully detained. Contrary to what Mr. Nixon maintained, it’s illegal regardless of whether or not one is POTUS.

That said, I agree with you regarding Pence.

  4. He’s still not working in schools.

He’s spending countless hours threatening my life on Topix, according to people who email me to tell me about it. Apparently has a lot of free time.

It’s behavior becoming of a narcissistic maniac, in my opinion. But I guess it’s to be expected… since he was caught, held accountable by government and the people he is alleged to have harmed. He can misdirect his rage at me all he wants but last I checked, I’m the one with a network of people who run circles around that kind of nonsense. And everyone who stood up to him has been victorious: Michelle Henry, Jennifer Hall, Gene Heffington (to an extent), Kelly Wallace (soon), Amanda Reffitt (soon? who even knows? I believe her the least), Jim Dusso (soon), Alice Anderson, Sharon Smith Breiner, the OEA, the EPSB, the Office of Civil Rights.
