You know how Mitch McConnell keeps trying to reinvent himself as a tea partier? The Central Kentucky Teabagger Circlejerk is none too pleased.

Below are *just a few* of McConnell’s terrible votes. While reviewing these, remember this man has repeatedly sworn to uphold the Constitution! What more need be said?

*October 1, 2008 — Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) ***

– *Mitch McConnell –YEA; Jim Bunning votes – NAY**. *
– *The Banker Bailout Bill of 2008. Senator Bunning said at the time that this was socialist legislation through and through. *

*November 20, 1993 –North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) ***
*HR 3450 — Roll Call # 395 *

– *Mitch McConnell votes YEA — Jim Bunning votes NAY** –(Mr. Bunning was in the U.S. House at that time.) The Economic Policy Institute published a report in 2011 that stated NAFTA had already caused the loss of 1,000,000 American jobs. The United States had a 29% decline in American manufacturing since 1993. Ross Perot was right on that one. *

*In July of 2005 McConnell voted for CAFTA and he has voted for every “Free Trade Agreement” as well as the GATT and the World Trade Organization. *

*June 14, 2001 –No Child Left Behind Act**. *

– *Mitch McConnell voted YEA** HR1 introduced by John Boehner 107th
Congress. *
– *An explosion of federal involvement in education, worsened education.
– *President Reagan said he wanted to dump the Federal Department of Education. For years the Republican Party Platform called for eliminating the Federal Department of Education. Then the Republican leadership champions No Child Left Behind along with Ted Kennedy. The legislation results in a downgrading of literacy and an upgrading in socialism. *
