    I have seldom read such undeserved accolades as in Joe Gerth’s article about Ramsey. This is sycophant journalism at its most unctuous. If anything, UofL has been an “outlaw” university during the past 12 years (widely recognized as such across the nation). Scandal after scandal (probably more than any other campus during that time), money as the God of academe, and PR and athletics as the fulcrum hiding the shell game. Gerth mentions none of this. Maybe he could get a nice job in the Card PR department. He certainly doesn’t speak truth to power.
