It’s official — Larry Bailey got out of his contract at Montgomery County Schools and is on his way to West Virginia. During the most crucial time of the school year.
He’s being replaced by Rick Mattox, a retired former principal and former assistant superintendent. Mattox worked with Montgomery County’s former superintendent, Dr. Freeman, prior to Joshua Powell hitting the scene.
According to school district sources, Mattox will only be there until the end of the contractual year.
