Last night the Montgomery County School Board held a meeting — which was partially closed door — to focus on the mountains of legal problems facing the district and superintendent Joshua Powell.
When something unexpected happened.
Every single member of the board was served with a subpoena:
Those were staffers from the Education Professional Standards Board (the EPSB we so frequently mention), which is apparently doing its job despite several Beshear appointees trying to shut it down.
The best part was watching Powell slip into anxiety mode:
