We hear through the grapevine that Kristi Carter, Montgomery County Schools superintendent’s right-hand, is continuing the retaliation scheme against whistleblower Jennifer Hall.
According to many people we’ve spoken with over the past five weeks, Carter has asked several of Hall’s co-workers to sign affidavits against her. Several of them report that they have refused to do so and now fear retaliation of their own.
One of the people who refused to sign? Someone who has been on Powell’s side since day one. They tell us they’ve had enough and can’t stand to watch people be taken down for doing the right thing.
We briefly mentioned this a month ago but the Powell/Carter effort has allegedly started to heat back up the past ten or so days.
Why? Because Carter allegedly yelled at an upset daycare child, sarcastically encouraging the child to hit her. The child was then placed in a storage closet on a mat in order to calm down. That’s after the kid came to school upset several days in a row. All that allegedly led to the child running outside the building. Once in the open, the kid crossed a four-lane highway to an area Kroger store where a grandparent works.
Carter and Powell have, of course, been working to deny that this occurred but everyone at the daycare has confirmed the story with us. Since Carter can’t get employees to deny that the daycare event occurred, efforts have increased to go after Hall.
Let’s take a photo tour of the child’s route:

Way to go, Montgomery County. Taxpayer dollars well spent.
