In early March that Montgomery County Schools superintendent Joshua Powell had hired a school resources officer to act as what amounts to assistant principal — or School Administrative Manager.
It was a huge embarrassment for the district that involved a principal being forced to send out a correction letter. Powell even had to go to the local stenography service newspaper to claim he was doing no such thing, said the position wouldn’t be filled, Barrier wouldn’t be doing that job.
Fast forward to this past Friday when Barrier sent this email:
Does that sound like something that’s part of a school resource officer’s job description?
Hypocrisy, how does it work? Josh Powell wants to know.
