Unlike electeds in Indiana, those in Kentucky don’t ever have to be, you know, responsible for where they claim to live.
In November 2011, we brought up the reality that Ruth Ann Palumbo didn’t live where she claimed to live on official documents.
John Cheves was on the story like white on rice. Or, if this were any other state, like any responsible journalist (he’s one of the few in Kentucky) would cover it.
Ruth Ann got really angry and started going after her neighbors who questioned her residency and who had legitimate concerns about the literally falling down home she claimed to live in.
In January of last year we further questioned the shenanigans.
Guess what? Nothing has changed in an entire year.
And you wonder why Kentucky can’t have nice things.
