Did you know? Mitch McConnell is once again concerned about “free speech.”
Here’s an email blast his campaign pushed out its rear in a loose whoosh yesterday:
Dear Friend,
As Republican Leader, Mitch McConnell has been one of the strongest defenders of the Constitution in the Senate. That’s why tomorrow, Leader McConnell will address the growing threat to our First Amendment rights under the Obama administration during a speech at the American Enterprise Institute.
As a member of Team Mitch, and one of our strongest supporters, we wanted to give you a sneak preview of Leader McConnell’s speech before tomorrow morning.
In his speech, Leader McConnell will call attention to the many ways in which the Obama administration is aggressively working to undermine free speech through harassment and intimidation. Not only is the President’s campaign aligning itself with the tactics of the hard left, the administration itself is also using the powers of government to do these things. Whether it’s regulations or even through executive order, Obama officials are working around the clock to silence their critics.
Make sure to visit TeamMitch.com tomorrow at 11:15am Eastern to watch the entire speech. It’s time for conservatives of all stripes – and indeed all Americans – to recognize the severity of these threats to our First Amendment rights, and to fight back.
–Team Mitch
The terror-iffic “left” wants to stop people from anonymously throwing $50 million into a shadowy campaign group. FIRST AMENDMENT!
The libruls don’t believe fat white guys should be allowed to decide what those who… women get to do with their bodies. FIRST AMENDMENT!
Democrats are doing exactly what Republicans have always done and that is suddenly bad. FIRST AMENDMENT!
The horror! Are you skeerd?

You know when you read the first amendment; it does prohibit any law abridging freedom of speech, but is it “a bridge too far” when it comes to the fairness and protection of guaranteeing the electoral process, by allowing those who have the most money, to manipulate and influence the outcome of elections and smother the voice of reason?

“What in Hell Did You Say, Mitch?”
Mitch is herding his right-wing sheep as if they are morons (a distinct possibility, come to think of it). Such gobbledegook in an educated man is quite obscene. It is good that free speech allows us to see how lame Mitch is. In this case, it works wonderfully against the speaker himself.
