By 5:15 P.M. yesterday, it was clear that the mainstream media was – like we said – essentially ignoring the damaging state government audit released by Adam Edelen.
The Courier-Journal’s main page had absolutely no mention of the word audit:


And the Herald-Leader’s coverage was relegated to a tiny blurb about the personnel software issue:


In Louisville, there was nothing on WAVE3′s site:


Nothing on WHAS11′s site:


Nothing on WLKY’s site:


A tiny blurb, ten stories down at FOX41:


In Lexington, nothing at WKYT:


Nothing at WTVQ:


Nothing at WLEX18:


But you can see the gambling amendment was a hot story.
So it looks like Papaw’s whitewashing with gambling worked.

Et voila! The detailed proof that self-censorship in KY is just as wide-spread as in some distant lands of “unbrave” and “unfree” like Syria or Russia. :)
But seriously, shame on KY “mainstream” journalism and kudos to news sites like PageOneKY!
