Alecia Webb-Edgington should probably stop shopping stories to eight reporters as “exclusive” if she wants her candidacy to be taken seriously. Otherwise, Thomas Massie will self-fund and leave her in the dust. Actually, we get the sense Massie is already leaving her behind. [4th District Thoughts]
At least EIGHT child abuse deaths are missing from Kentucky’s recently released list. What a farce. HEADS NEED TO ROLL. [Debby Yetter]
Northern Kentucky Democrats say they’ll be fielding a candidate for congress. Unfortunately, we all know that candidate is going to lose like woah because there’s no way they can afford to run and win in that media market. It won’t be Nathan Smith and it won’t be Patrick Hughes. [Amanda Van Benschoten]

Really, you have to roll your eyes at this state purchase of a mega amount of land for millions of dollars from a major political donor. [John Cheves]

MIT grad who started a business and sold it out of his dorm room. Moved back to a rural county in Kentucky and has built his house with solar power and wood and rock he’s found….. He’s also a judge executive that is making that county progress more in 8 months than the last 8 years. Yeah, Thomas Massie is the real deal.

He had 70 employees so I’m not sure how they all fit in that dorm room, but I’m impressed by him. A fresh face and someone who’s actually been successful in the private sector without damaging someone else (or the environment, etc)

He’s smart. And he believes we’re taxed enough already. Don’t know about the bagging part.
