Jerry Abramson (Translation for you folks out in those “homegrown communities” Jerry visited: “Jurry”) hit the state’s googlebox today with his official biography:

Some of the highlights that nearly made our eyes bug out:
Throughout 21 years as mayor, Abramson oversaw a dramatic transformation of Louisville. He helped maintain and enhance Louisville’s economy during the nation’s recent economic crisis by bringing the KFC Yum! Center to the city’s waterfront
Last we checked, it was stimulus dollars that kept Louisville from falling apart. Not Jerry.
He didn’t bring the arena to Louisville. It was Ernie Fletcher and Jim Host, last we checked. Tom Jurich also had his hand in that cookie jar.
He did help transform downtown, though. He gave his friends at Cordish Cos millions upon millions of dollars (all so they could eventually go belly-up) while killing local businesses.
Another choice bit:
He also brought together diverse partners to re-invent Louisville as a “City of Parks” and to develop a nationally recognized public housing model.
HOUSING? Really?!
Click this shiz. Right now.
Then this.
And this.
Hell, even this.
Kentucky is in for a wild ass ride.
