Beshear Crew Hides Public Info, Costing Taxpayers

Dear Alison Grimes: Elaine Walker is no longer Secretary of State. It’s time to remove her name from the automated email system. Maybe ditch her name from press releases. [Just A Thought]

Remember Christine “I am not a witch” O’Donnell? She endorsed Mormon cultist Mitt Romney because, “He’s been consistent since he changed his mind.” Hahaha. [Wonkette]

Stan Lee isn’t just afraid of having a homo moment, he’s not just keep on defending people who kill babies (parking garage disaster), he’s not content with having Breck Girl hair and a creepy rat on his lip. He’s so afraid of Mexicans that he wants to force all employers to verify their status. [84WHAS]

It’s a shame newspapers have to sue the state for illegally withholding information from public records regarding child death investigations. Steve Beshear should be absolutely ashamed. Unfortunately, those same newspapers will let him shirk any and all responsibility. [H-L]

Steve Beshear has offered no details about proposed gambling legislation because he hasn’t yet created it. It’s also interesting to watch Greg Stumbo work with David Williams to trash the governor while pretending to support Beshear. [Joe Gerth]

Lexington’s fire chief finally gave up. He’s going to stop pushing for a disability pension from the city. [WKYT]

Yes, a Gingrich nomination will drive away voters. People aren’t going to support some gasbag who cheated on his wife as she was dying. [WaPo]

Don’t tell mouth-breathers like Stan Lee that Attorney General Eric Holder has signaled a tough review of racist state laws on voting. [NY Times]

Here come the pussy Democrats caving to Mitch McConnell on taxing millionaires fairly. You get what you vote for. [Reuters]

Ernie Fletcher regretted showing up to the inauguration the second Steve Beshear opened his mouth. [Joe Arnold]

This is apparently an important news headline: Lack of Coal References in Beshear Inauguration Speech Not Surprising. [WFPL]

Congressman John Yarmuth is speaking out about reckless spending and a lack of accountability: “It’s astonishing that we still can’t get a full accounting of the Pentagon,” Congressman Yarmuth said. “With automatic cuts to defense coming because of the super committee’s failure, we need to know how to responsibly eliminate wasteful spending.” [Press Release]

Indianapolis is freaking out that it’s Gannett beast newspaper is suffering death at the hands of the Gannett beast paper in Kentucky. [The 'Ville Voice]

People aren’t going to support some gasbag who cheated on his wife as she was dying.

I know you don’t allow external links to be posted here, so I can’t post the link to the piece written by Gingrich’s daughter that debunks that story. The first wife is still alive and well. The tumor was benign, and the wife initiated the divorce.

The long-told story that Newt served divorce papers on his wife when she was in the hospital dying of cancer is a lie.

And I guess Beshear’s speech proved my point that Fletcher should have had nothing to do with this inauguration.

Um, Newt Gingrich acknowledges trying to discuss divorce while the woman was in the hospital as she underwent uterine cancer treatment.

Fox News said he had an affair while trying to impeach Clinton.

Quit with your ridiculous pandering. You’re no longer welcome to comment.

Right on, Jake–as a foster parent it sickens me to no end that Beshear’s Cabinet, HIS CABINET, illegally withholds information from public records regarding child death investigations. Actually, all records of abuse should be open. Like most administrators and bureaucrats they claim confidentiality for altruistic reasons, but of course that is a lie. Has the Gov (and Janie Miller) no shame?

Gingrich’s daughter would of course defend her Dad. Hardly the best source for anything.

The constitutional officers aren’t sworn in til January 3rd, so technically Elaine Walker is still the SOS for another 3 weeks.

Eric: My point, which was maybe too sarcastic, is that she’s not SoS – not because Alison hasn’t been sworn in, but because she’s MIA.

The woman didn’t even know that her agency had to submit a budget until Alison inquired.

Hopefully, Senator Buford rejecting the idea that expanded gaming should start in the Senate signals that Senate Republicans are NOT STUPID! It was Beshear who made this his signature issue and he has failed miserably, so why should the opposition party bail his bony butt out? Maybe Bill Yung can ask Governor Beshear for his million bucks back? As for Beshear’s graciousness towards Fletcher, that’s pure Steve The Pious Beshear, which is why Democrats like Stumbo and John Y Brown can’t stand the guy. Let’s see how ethical the second term goes. Any bets?
