And a pro-tip to Scott Jenning: Quit jacking around with out-of-state press aligned with Beshear and the DGA that gets you nowhere in Kentucky. It’s like you want to come off like you’re as out-of-touch as the rest of the Republicans running this year.
Dumbest ads of the year, hands-down. Even worse than Todd P’Pool’s abortion of an advertising strategy.

Scott Jennings is all show and blow, he tried the same crap (fear Nancy Pelosi)when he debated me at Campbellsville University when Guthrie couldn’t show. I put in his face with a big smile on mine, even Trey Grayson was impressed, infact I think Trey winked at me once!

Ed, you have to feel sorry for them. Just like Guthrie did to you Beshear is ducking debates. In that regard you have to understand that feeling that the challenger is getting the shaft as are the people of the Commonwealth.

I think he’s done a solid job. Otherwise DLW’s reputation would be even worse than it is.
My point is that he’s focused far too much time on out-of-state press and that’s just silly.

Uh, Jake, so where in my comment is a judgement about Jennings’ ability to “run a campaign”? The issue is visibility. Hell, the best public face Williams has had out there is his wife. BTW If I was managing a campaign for a major office and my candidate’s opponent didn’t show, but sent his or her campaign manager or paid staff ,there would be an explosion and a demand that the organizers remove them from the stage. Good on Scott for pulling that off for Guthrie….maybe he should give Rick Perry a call?
