HEAD – DESK.
What a failure.
All that time preparing and he couldn’t sack up and hit Jack Conway in tonight’s debate?
No specifics on UofL. No specifics on the myriad Beshear scandals. No mention of Matt Conway. No specifics on Jack’s Ethics shenanigans. Nothing. Just NOBAMA!!1! and Jesus.
His one chance to get a WEEK of free press by hitting Jack and he just couldn’t pull his balls out of his stomach long enough to do it. Hahaha. Wow.
Jack deserves to win, despite his obvious, you know, general shittiness, because Todd Peepee choked.

I agree, I don’t know why he refuses to bring up Matt.

I disagree. I thought that P’Pool did a good job. Conway was angry and flustered most of the debate.

Pro-tip: This is an instance when you look like a goddamn tool when you say you disagree with me.
Todd P’Pool spent DAYS prepping for this debate and used NOTHING in his arsenal. Absolutely nothing.
All he did was bring up Jesus and Nobama.
Todd P’Pool did a horrible job and Jack Conway did even worse.

Compliment: P’Pool looked calm, cool and collected.
Criticism: I was pissed off that I missed Miami’s first score thinking that, at some point, P’Pool would strike in some meaningful way. Nothing…and Dolphins lost.
Take Away: P’Pool is running for 2016 and didn’t want to damage himself. There is no other explanation. If he mentioned the FOP endorsement one more time, I would have slapped the dog.
Party Polling: Must be terrible for P’Pool. Hear it is only respectable for Comer(with him ahead) and Crosbie (with her 6 points off). Kemper and Johnson are polling well, but an 8 to 1 margin will sink their ship in fundraising.
Regrets: Why did he spend $400000 on bad cable and staff three months before the election? It is a two to three week drill, at best.
Prediction: Comer wins (Lots of corn hole on bus tour), Crosbie (if she truly has $200000 in bank and goes negative against dweebo as 3rd party guy can’t afford happy meals) and rest of field falls apart. Guessing that Johnson loses by 4, Kemper by 8 and Williams by 18.

P’Pool polls close to Conway in both Democratic and Republican polling.

I agree with Jake 100% –I kept watching for some action from Todd but really nothing hit-at times he looked like a deer in headlights-

Only political junkies watch KET “debates”, but, yea, after P’Pool gets absolutely slimed by Conway/Riddle attack ads he’ll probably regret not using that forum for some easy slap shots of his own.

Those “junkies” are the people who then influence public opinion and control the news cycle in the coming weeks.
Those junkies could have been writing editorial after editorial and article after article about Conway’s issues. But Peepee wet the bed and got scared.
He’s worse than David Williams when it comes to taking political advice. And contrary to what people say? He hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell in running for something later if he can’t beat the guy who lost to Rand Paul.

” Those junkies could have been writing editorial after editorial and article after article about Conway’s issues.” Jake, with all sincerity, white boy, please!

You still have no political sense?
Even a negative editorial can bring an issue to light. It’s a standard McConnell practice that Democrats apparently refuse to comprehend. One that Republicans are too dense to bother comprehending.
As any dolt with google can see, at least a dozen articles appeared today about the “debate.” Had P’Pool not been a complete and total gas bag and waste of an hour, he’d be getting a solid bump this week.

You’re so pleasant, Jake. Any dolt knows that one article doesn’t translate to article or editorial after article or editorial, which is what you said. Are you saying that Conway’s “issues” are unknown by the press absent P’Pool proclaiming them in front of Bill Goodman? Goodness.
12 jake // Oct 18, 2011 at 11:48 am
Look at the dozens of articles that hit today.
All of them discuss what P’Pool said. All them would have discussed what he should have said, had he said it.
And where did I say a single article translates to more? Every outlet’s gonna write its own shit and run its own stories… as happened today. Small town papers will release their stories on Weds/Thurs/Fri. Then the statewide press will run their features and editorials over the weekend.

Of course the liberal/Democratic apologists in the press know about Conway’s issues, but they aren’t going to bring them to the forefront unless forced to. Endless RPK/P’Pool press releases aren’t going to get them to act, but mentioning the issues in the debate might.
