Steve Beshear refuses to face his opponents because he’s ahead.

Beshear and the Kentucky Democratic Republican Party have just this week spent tons of time talking about what a positive and clean campaign they’re running (not true, as we’ve pointed out).

So why is it they’re suddenly attacking David Williams with something so tired and pointless as a television?

Doesn’t the man have a decades-long history of shit that is substantive and worthy of attack? Don’t any of his policies irk the Democrats enough to offer an alternative?

Is this the best they can do?

Even Gatewood Galbraith can rattle off a litany of crap that’s rolled from David Williams. You’d think the Dems would learn from that.

Instead, they resort to hypocritical, nasty attacks. They go after say, bloggers, and their personal lives. They attack friends of campaign staffers. They refuse to show up for debates. And the majority of folks are none the wiser to the bullshit that’s been going down right under their noses.
