It’s terribly sad that Steve Beshear’s campaign folks thought it would be appropriate to take an ad promoting the silly Ark Park (seriously – campaign ads pandering to those folks) to a Jewish fundraiser. Can you imagine? That’s how disconnected from reality that campaign is – and they have a Jewish running mate. HEAD – DESK. [Deep Campaign Embarrassment]
You won’t believe this. Actually, you will. Some KRS staffer gave out unreconciled financial information that resulted in greatly overstated losses. [Press Release]
Can you believe it’s been 106 days of Republican Party of Kentucky Chairman Steve Robertson questioning Jack Conway? “It’s clear Jack Conway believes that the law should only apply to some of us – after all, he intervened to helped his brother obtain a high-profile criminal defense lawyer during a drug investigation,” said Robertson. “I have to wonder if he was granting special privileges to his brother or if he just routinely helps out the subjects of criminal investigations in this way.” [Press Release]

Yep, this is what Steve Beshear is spending your tax dollars on. A discriminatory theme park that attempts to push all kinds of crazy tripe on children. [FOX41]
Today Steve Beshear got the “major endorsement” of Larry Hopkins. So major, in fact, next to no one remembers that he was once a Republican U.S. Congressman. [Email Blast/Presser]
Maybe some day the Kentucky Farm Bureau won’t be such a bigoted, ignorant, backwater, gay-hating bunch of hacks. But don’t hold your breath. [The 'Ville Voice]

Steve Beshear doesn’t have time to debate David Williams but he has time to spend a few hours at Humana? That’s what he did this afternoon at 2:00 P.M. and his staff sent out a media advisory. [Press Release]

This was super-controversial when it was in Louisville and there appear to be a ton of ethical questions clouding the exhibit. Go see it in Lexington if you like that sort of thing. [H-L]

Timely info on KRS.
I’ve been wondering what the declining equities were doing to the holdings.
They say they hold more than most pension funds, in cash. Can’t help but wonder if that “cash” is actually US Treasuries or something tied directly to UST’s …as the 10 and 30 year Treasuries have hit new lows in the rate of return.

Who in the hell is running the day-to-day campaign decisions and the day-to-day gubernatorial decisions? Are they same morons? Common sense, accountabilty and leadership are apparently are words these folks never learned. The stupidity exhibit by Beshear and Fischer is damn near the same.
