Yep – State Budget Director Mary Lassiter forwarding around a January 22, 2010 editorial in support of Steve Beshear’s failed gambling budget.
And Major General Edward Tonini essentially confirming in a response to Lassiter that there was an effort to sell the ed board.
This isn’t a ding at Tonini but a nice look at how Beshear’s top brass operate.

One suggestion for cuts might be to end Maey Lassiter’s double dipping…that’s likely one less slot machine we’ll need.
