The Republican Party of Kentucky is hitting back at Steve Beshear in a new web ad:

“Released in the spirit of Fancy Farm, this video reveals Steve Beshear for what he really is…a do-nothing Governor enjoying the perks of the job while Kentucky families face real struggles in a crippling economy,” said Steve Robertson, RPK Chairman. “Steve Beshear lives a champagne and caviar lifestyle on the backs of hard-working Kentuckians while offering them no ideas, no solutions and no leadership. Not a great deal if you ask me.”

“Steve Beshear has a job that comes with great power and perks…but it is still a job,” Robertson added. “This man has shirked and abdicated his responsibilities time and again, and the Republican Party will continue to ask that voters revoke his parking privileges at the Governor’s Mansion…and the Frankfort airport.”

It’s all true – which is strange for a Republican ad – but will it float?
