According to the Office of the State Budget Director, General Fund receipts were up 7.9% in April. That’s an increase of $62.1 million for a total of $844.2 million.
Road Fund receipts were up 7.6% to $116.1 million.
The highlights:
- Sales & use taxes up 3.6% for April, up 4.3% for the year
- Corporate taxes up 56%, up 21.6% for the year
- Individual taxes up 8.7%, up 6.5% for the first ten months of the fiscal year
- Property taxes down 7.5%, down 0.8% for the year
- Cancer stick taxes down 6.5%, down 6% for the year
- Coal severance taxes dropped 11.3%, up 8% for the fiscal year
- Motor fuels up 10.6%
- Vehicle use taxes up 11.8%
- License & Privilege taxes up 2.8%
