“UK Continues Climb to Top-20 Status”

UK Faculty: “In a severe state of declining revenues, we need a new scoreboard like a hole in the head.”

Board member: “You faculty are as naive as vestal virgins. What in the hell is a $3.1 million loan in the big scheme of things?”

UK faculty: “Top-20 university, my athletic foot!”

Board member: “Precisely. A high-tech scoreboard would highlight our commitment to achieving top-20 status in both AP and Coaches’ polls.”

what is cool about that logo (with the eagle) is that it was worked out substantially at the forums by supporters, and was donated to the campaign by the designer. It didn’t have an eagle to start with but there was another one with an eagle. I guess the campaign just decided to compromise by slapping on an eagle…. But the other one was very different.

I’d post the link to the eagle one but I might upset you. I bought some bumper stickers though, they are really excellent.

    “Guns Aimed at Capitol Hill”

Those who threatened Mitch and Bunning (ironic if the callers said they would use guns since both our Senators are notoriously giddy for their use) are most likely in need of psychiatric help. Though Bunning is marked as “crazy” in Jake’s blurb, I believe that he and Mitch are more guilty of moral malfeasance. Why? They don’t give a damn about the many Americans who have lost jobs or those who have lost lives and limbs in useless wars. Who is the bigger culprit?
