Conway Wants All Your Money & Forgetfulness

March 29th, 2011 · 1 Comment

Last week, Attorney General Jack Conway’s re-election campaign said the following in a fundraising email blast:

A lot of the work we do as Attorneys General makes for great headlines, but I always remember that every case I work on involves the real-life struggles of my fellow Kentuckians. Whether it’s a family facing wrongful foreclosure or a veteran looking to further her education, I’m committed to protecting you from scam artists, predators and folks who just don’t want to play by the rules. That’s why I always want to hear from you.

He’s committed to protecting us from folks who don’t want to play by the rules.

Unless, of course…

  • It’s his absurdly horrible campaign consultant who has cost him two major races
  • It’s his brother
  • It’s him with his oil investments
  • It’s his campaign staff personally attacking messengers
  • It’s a Democrat he wants to protect – like corrupt Todd Hollenbach

Could someone please explain how I’m ever supposed to be excited about Jack as a candidate again? Please?

Cause I truly want to support him.

I agree with you Jake. The loss to Rand Paul was an opportunity for Jack Conway to reinvent himself into a candidate that I think he really wants to be- that person who will clean up the corruption in Kentucky. However, if he doesn’t do something about that inner circle giving deplorable Aqua Budda advice. . . . . he is going to lose again.

There are too many issues out there that the AG’s office is covering up instead of prosecuting.
