It’s cute that Elaine Nogay Walker admitted on Ryan Alessi’s show that Steve Beshear is making fundraising calls for her.

Remember when Beshear, you know, like two weeks ago, said he was remaining neutral in the race for Secretary of State?

Well, his candidate admitted it on television. Strange that Alessi didn’t follow up on that.

AND she was called out for consultants ditching her campaign. Haha, thanks for the shout-out, Ryan, and for calling Elaine on her embarrassingly bad campaign.

But here are the facts: That split wasn’t on good terms. Walker’s inexperienced deputy caused distrust among her consultants because she felt like she wasn’t in charge. The consultants weren’t keen on letting Walker waste money she didn’t have and wanted to give her solid political advice. But you know what happens when common sense shows up in the Beshear world – it gets drowned in the bathtub.

It’s almost as sad as the fundraiser held by Virginia Woodward and Eleanor Jordan:

Many names on the list tell us they only contributed $100 because the governor called them. Doesn’t help that some didn’t give permission for their names to be used.
