Hey, ladies and ladydudes. Some right-wing mouth-breathing “Christians” have produced a film aimed at fighting the “Green Dragon.” That’s right – pals of Jim Gooch and the Family Fauxndation are protecting our white women from scary people who don’t want to murder the environment 24/7. [Wonkette]

Mitch McConnell is still spreading those Bush tax cut lies. Cute how he only wants to protect the mega wealthy. Forget about 99% of the rest of the country. [TPM]

How about the fact last decade we increased our prison population 50%. Most of that was non-violent drug offenders. Because, all evidence shows people clean up and have better lives after going to prison.

Unfortunately, Chandler has completely misread his political situation. He seems to believe that the reason he almost lost was Nancy Pelosi and a bad economy. The reason he almost lost was ignoring his constituents and ineffectual staff work. Congressman Chandler has been given a reprieve, it remains to been seen if he learns from this. He would serve himself and his constituents well, if he visited the district more often and make some senior staffing changes.

“Anon Explains the Ben Situation Well”

Chandler was his typical lame self, Anon, in the TV interview. No one could ever accuse him of “over reaching” on any issue. You are so right that he has not yet gotten the main point that many Blue Dogs (like him) went down because the public is catching up to their do-nothing “work.” At least Ben did appear to be awake, swinging his hands from time to time. This proves he is perhaps redeemable and not quite catatonic.

    “Psychoanalyzing Mitch”

McConnell is no “motivated skeptic,” psychobabble notwithstanding. He is simply an extremist partisan hack willing to do anything for GOP re-elections and deaf to anything that would be good for average folks in Amurka. All he sees is $$$. He personifies the political version of Wall St. greed writ large.
