Rasmussen/Fox News has Paul up seven today. One would figure the results would be the other way around.

Do you know when this poll was taken?
The question says “if” Paul and Conway were the nominees.

Something big will have to happen for Jack to win at this point.

If Kentucky elects Rand Paul then this state is zanier than I thought.
Sometimes you have to hold your nose to vote for the purpose of keeping nutz out of office.
Rand Paul is nutz — he has no idea what he is talking about on most issues.
His supporters threw a woman down, dragged her & stomped on her head last night … Kentucky will be electing a Brown Shirt Candidate.
Many of his supporters are KNOWN & admitted white supremacists.
He has refused to give donations back after he learned those monies came from admitted white supremacist groups.
I am not at all joking when I say – Rand Paul ideas are the equivalent to a Militia Government.

Yup – it’s on the crosstabs if you click the link.
Oct 21 – 24.

I checked the date too – and was still surprised at the question. It was an odd way to word that question.

Jack Conway deserves to lose this race by 20 points!
He’s called Jake a liar, threatened him and probably worse!
Jack Conway’s entire campaign has been about I’m not Rand Paul, and that has been the biggest mistake.
If you can’t run on your own merits and ideas – don’t run!

The hyperbole is strong with this one.

the only good thing is looking at the ages in the crosstabs. i would think that more than 24% of voters are over 65

Looks like all of PPP’s polls ask the question that way. Weird…

Paul is at 50 in the Rasmussen (the most accurate) and is above 50% in the PPP (D) poll. Conway is done.
It’s obviouis Aqua budha backfired on him;

Rasmussen is not the most accurate in Kentucky. That’d be SurveyUSA, statistically speaking.
This race has been over since the primary.

Aqua Buddha did not hurt Conway as much as it signaled that Conway thought the race was probably over.
17 JS // Oct 26, 2010 at 1:38 pm
SurveyUSA and PPP were the most accurate in 2008.

“Rasmussen is not the most accurate in Kentucky.”
Rasmussen’s last poll of the McConnell-Lunsford race was on October 29, 2008.
They showed McConnell ahead by seven.
McConnell won by six.
That’s not bad.

I just don’t believe the polls, not these polls. I just don’t think rational people will vote for Rand Paul. But, I guess it all depends on how many rational voters we have.

Come on everybody.
Jack lacked ideas on the issues. He towed the party line and then he didn’t.
And when the people, please remember Kentucky Democrats outnumber Republicans, heard his ideas they moved away or became disenchanted.
Rand, no matter what you think, has got a message out there that has resonated with his base and independents.
That being said, No matter which man gets elected America and Kentucky will survive.
And by the way, the only poll that counts is the people’s poll. That comes next Tuesday. Please get out there and VOTE.
