But isn’t Rasmussen a GOP polling outfit?
CNN has it tied, Kos had Rand +7, and SUSA is all over the place.
I don’t know what to believe!

CNN polled registered voters, not likely voters.
I think somewhere between SUSA & Rasmussen is where it’s at. Paul’s definitely ahead, though not by double digits.
And Jack is definitely not ahead, as he proclaims. Sadly.

Sad is right. It’s sad that Kentuckians would vote or even consider voting for someone who has the support of Joe, a fraud plumber; Sarah Palin, an ex-governor who could not complete one term; and Michelle Bachmann, a pure nut case.
Do people not understand the individuals we vote into office will be making important, life-altering decisions for us? Rand Paul is not the man to be making serious decisions. His choice of associations has more than proven this fact. If he wins, it’s a SAD day for Kentucky.

Factface,
Rand Paul wants to reduce the ability of the government to make “important, life altering decisions for us”. Who knows better what is good for your life than you? Why do you need or want some government employee deciding how you live and how you spend your money?

Chris Mallory: With that logic, women should get to decide what to do with their bodies.

I’m kind of hoping that people who do safety inspections in mines have a pretty good grasp of what is good for my life, in the literal sense.
I fear they might not, but I think “accidents happen” is not good for anyone’s life.

Still in Florida. I must say, Florida has out crazied jack and Rand.
Grayson is throwing out a “Christian Taliban’ commercial that is a must see. Plus I can only hope for a 3 way race in our gov. Like their senator race.

What I found most odd in the recent C-J Survey USA poll was that they only had Conway up by two in Louisville. If that’s true it will be a Paul blowout.

Florida had me worried because I was afraid Crist would split the Republican vote but it turns out he’s splitting the Democrat vote. haha Poor Meeks.

In the 21st century, we know there are two people there, not one, Jake. Read a science book or something.

First, Ms Graas — thank you for having the courage to actually sign your post, and with your real name and website! Good on you. I took a look at the site — nice look.
Second — won’t get into the argument about the abortion issue. You won’t change my mind, and I won’t change yours, so no use wasting the bits.
BUT — I will note that I thought it wasn’t possible for Kentucky to have a worse Senator than “Money-Bags” Mitch and Jim “I’m-Being-Followed” Bunning. But I never counted on Rand “I’m A Doctor Cause I Say So” Paul.
Here’s a man who believes that our seniors should pay a $2,000 deductible before their Medicare kicks in. Hmm — my mother’s SS is under $2,000 a month, so if she got sick in January she’d just have to starve till the next month.
Here’s a man who believes property rights trumps civil rights. Here’s a man thinks we were too hard on poor BP.
And here’s a man who belongs to an organization that believes Obama won the election through hypnotism.
Your side keeps throwing the reasonably functional candidates under the bus and substituting people like Christine “I Dabbled In Witchcraft But Don’t Touch Your Wand” McDonnell. As long as the Republican party is somewhere between John Birch, Pat Robertson, and David Duke, you will be either attacked or ridiculed by anyone who can read and think.
And if you really, truly think that Rand Paul would make a better United States Senator than Jack Conway, you are either a Republican whose loyalty has surpassed your ability to read and think, or you are a single-issue voter whose focus on that issue has blinded you to the rest of the picture.
Those persons who want Kentucky and the country to move forward will vote for Jack. Those who want to shove a stick in Obama’s eye by electing a horrible senator will vote for Rand Paul. I choose progress, not craziness. I can only hope that the rest of Kentucky does the same.
