In re Kathy Groob
Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
“… came within 6% points of defeating her opponent.
… came with [sic] a very close margin (49.5%) of defeating her 12-year incumbent opponent.”
So is she promoting herself as a Professional Loser?

Groob told me that she lost because her old neighborhood didn’t vote for her. Imagine that. The people who know her best opted out.
That State Senate race should have been an easy win for the Democrats. Only Kathy Groob could screw it up so badly.

Did you see the Oz ad against Pelosi?
Dennis is running to her left on a number of issues, notably war.

Now all sheriff’s are in the stable:

Again, why does this matter? Elected cops who endorse their parties candidates is news?

I recall the neighborhood story.
I must say there is no such thing as an ‘easy win’ in Northern KY for democrats. But I think she sees Kenton, Campbell and Boone as ‘can’t win’ — which is not the best approach.

Sandy, that particular state senate district is one of the few that is favorable toward Democrats in NoKY.
That’s why everyone had such high hopes for a win 2008. The political environment was also favorable in 2008.
Don ‘t forget, Arnold Simpson, whose state rep district is in part of the Senate district, is running unopposed this year. The area favors Dems.
Groob blew it. Her neighbors didn’t like her, that’s why they didn’t vote for all.
Her political positions were all over the map. One day she’s religiously intolerant, the next day she’s anti-choice and vice versa.
She even campaigned carrying a Bible … people saw through her pandering.
Why candidates still use this loser’s “consulting services” is a miff to me.

Isn’t Jennifer “The disgraced ex-Chair” Moore involved with Groob in this effort to swindling these women candidates out of their money too?
9 jake // Sep 18, 2010 at 6:37 pm
Unlike KG, Jennifer actually has a job… so I don’t think she’s too involved.

This is such a curiosity to be me.
There have been plenty of people who tell that they just don’t like Groob, only tolerant her.
Her own neighborhood didn’t vote for her in 2008.
The media doesn’t like her.
Groob as a political personality seems finished to me, or very close to be finished.

Jake- Why does everyone on here have a hard-on for Kathy Groob.
12 jaded dude // Sep 19, 2010 at 5:21 am
Easy. Because everyone loves a Democrat Dominatrix!
13 RHines // Sep 19, 2010 at 8:26 am
LOL. Don’t call her that, Jaded, because she’ll try to get even with you for calling her names.
High schoolish, I know. In reality, Kathy Groob is just a bitter has-been who likes to bully … so maybe she really wants to be a dominatrix ??? Maybe Jim Schifrin got it right.
(PS I type fast, sorry for the typos/grammar errors)
