Anybody Have This Thing From Back In 2006?

August 16th, 2010 · 4 Comments

Anybody have Jim Newberry’s fancy book of new idears or whatever from his 2006 campaign, by chance? If so, I’d love to get my hands on a copy, from you, just because. [Email Me If You Have It]

This new tool, going live on Wednesday, is going to be awesome for checking campaign finance histories. Aristotle & Huffington Post are teaming up for Fundraise.org. [ABC News]

Jack Conway and Ben Chandler are no stranger to the politics of surrender. They change their beliefs on a whip, flip-flopping like they’re some kind of Paul brethren, pretending to be people who want to represent Kentuckians. How can we trust them if they continue to do this crap? [B&P]

It’s kinda gross how Mitch McConnell so consistently argues for the de-regulation of everything. It’s like he wants to turn the United States into RED CHINA. Lead-filled paint, poison-tainted baby food. Sounds terrific. [HuffPo]

The Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Jack Conway for U.S. Senate. [WLEX]

Do you love you some delicious coal ash? Then you should watch this and attend the public hearing in September. [The 'Ville Voice]

Harry Reid is cowering in fear, now says the ground zero mosque should be built somewhere else. Is that where Jack Conway gets his campaign courage? [Talking Points Memo]

Pictures of things also two blocks from ground zero in Lower Manhattan. [Click the Clicky]

Of course Rand Paul is clueless about real problems facing real Kentuckians. But when will the big dogs yell at Jack Conway for his willful tax cut ignorance? [DSCC]

I can’t decide if this is funny or alarming. Oh, the things small town police departments have to deal with. [Facebook]

Speaking of Facebook, take a look at this. Some folks are trying to pretend that Greg Stumbo is just like Nancy Pelosi. Guess he touched a nerve when he threatened to stick his boot up somebody’s butt. [HAHAHA]

Rand Paul says Barack Nobama is forcing the EPA down our throats. Much like he forced his bong water or whatever on that poor play-kidnappy lady. [HuffPo]

Today the DNC sent out a press release with some fancy Rand Paul facts. Yes, Rand is kooky, but no one in Kentucky can figure out why being a racist is bad news bears, so. Anyway. Hit the link. DNC has a new anti-Rand site that mentions those same facts. [Click the Clicky]

No word on Conway’s big endorsement by Kentucky’s Fraternal Order of Police. That would seem to be quite a coup, especially since this organization usually endorses Republicans.

From what I hear Rand didn’t even bother to respond to the questionnaire that’s sent to all candidates. How could he be that stupid—oh wait–sorry I forgot who I was talking about!
