Glenn Beck is attacking Muslims again. Apparently that’s trendy among teabaggers these days. He’s upset that Fix Flags is hosting Muslim Family Day on September 12. [HuffPo]
Last night, Governor Steve Beshear requested a Presidential disaster declaration in light of the terrible flash flooding. Will anyone bring up mountaintop removal? Will I get shot for doing so? And who wants to go up in a small plane to survey the damage and mining sites in the area? [Press Release]
There’s no need to talk about race in Kentucky, right? Just ask Ben Chandler. Kentucky is so post-racial. [H-L]
Daily Caller failed to report that it, too, was part of JournoList. Meanwhile, Daily Caller is pressuring me to let them use my content for free. HA. [More HuffPo]
$2,500 panty raid in Lexington! I repeat, $2,500 panty raid in Lexington! Seriously, how does someone swipe 200 pair of panties in the blink of an eye in the middle of a mall? [H-L]
Ryan Alessi says he’s releasing a fancy U.S. Senate poll today. I still think you should hold out for SurveyUSA, as it’s the most accurate in Kentucky. [Alessi]
Rand Paul just can’t believe that the scary African American Black (that’s how elfin white guys who claim they aren’t racist talk when there’s not a camera around – just ask the Democrats, who talk just like this) in Warshington is suing Arizona for hating Mexicans. He wants to know why Jack Conway won’t get mad about it. Because you know those damn foreigners are in our backyard tryina get our white women! [Hahaha]
Think Lexington’s Jim Newberry corruption mess was dying down? Think again. An internal audit board rejected a subpoena to hand over documents in the case. [Linda Blackford]
Everyone is shocked (shocked!) that Jim Bunning and Mitch McConnell plan to vote against Elena Kagan. Bet they’d support her if she was a mouth-breather and had a televised sex scandal involving a Coke can. [Joe Arnold]

“Legal Minds, Bozo Pro-Bidness Pols”
Of course, Bunning and MConnell are voting against Kagan. A no-brainer. Our two Senators stand up for business-only interests and are afraid Kagan might harm them. As for legal minds, how about Kagan vs. Mitch? Another no-brainer.
P.S. Bunning has no brain.
