He didn't deserve that.......and his wife and kids certainly didn't deserve getting dragged through the mud. BTW, speaking of the use of immoral tactics to gain power, I'm still getting comments about Ayn Rand on blog posts written weeks ago, so whatever you all are saying around the blogosphere, here or there, about that must be hitting a nerve.
