The absolute most hilarious and awesome thing for the Democrats? If David Adams or any other teabagger runs for governor. More importantly, if paid Rand Paul staffers are currently playing with a state race, they’re going to run into KREF and FEC problems. Apparently Adams has forgotten the years and years of crazy shiz he’s said. This is what you get, Republicans who are freaking out at me, because you’ve saddled up with the crazy: four more years of Beshear disappointment. [More Ryan Alessi]
Actually, Rand Paul, what Kentuckians should be outraged over is your consistent flip-flopping. Particularly that of attending the bailout fundraiser. Jack Conway’s decision to accept contributions from – gasp – attorneys is hardly the end of the world. [AP]
Sorry, I don’t know anyone who believes in Trey Grayson’s alleged support of Rand Paul. It’s called doing it for the Party. [WHAS11]

Gatewood & Dea are all up on the teabaggers these days. Think he’ll be pissed when he discovers the teabaggers are going to back someone else for governor? [MCL]

According to a post on http://www.randpaulforums.com, David Adams has left the Paul campaign to work on someone else’s future gubernatorial campaign. I guess that he is leaving to avoid those KREF and FEC problems.
I would still expect a Williams-Farmer ticket to win it all in November 2011, however, no matter who Adams comes up with. The “other” David Williams needs to come up with someone else named Richee Farmer — perhaps he could beat Beshear-Abramson in the Democratic primary.
