A person in a group with common sense wouldn't confirm an accusation by proudly displaying approval of it. What they would do is work with their group to expel anyone giving the world that impression.

And "idiot" is more a throwaway word than "racist". The tea baggers admit way too many of this kind into their crowd, and it distorts whatever message they are trying to send.

Of course, it still confounds that when a group is so upset about the bailouts, they don't seem to have any anger for the banks. Now that's odd.

So let me get this straight. If we called those people idiots enough times, and then they got tired of being called idiots, they'd make a T-shirt that says, "Yup, I'm an Idiot"?

Even if their "yup" statement is meant for irony, their narrow-minded positions are attractive to for-real racists, whose support might attractively swell their numbers in November, maybe even enough to tip a contest or two. I've always wondered why white blue-collar males are so eager to vote Republican when they're the ones that always get it furthest up the fundament by the policies of the GOP.Racism seems the only possible answer to that perplexing question, and this video just further confirms it. So, so sad.

How can anyone at this gathering think they're Christians? Christians don't wear "Yep, I'm a racist" t-shirt nor do they try to justify racism. Hatred has consumed so many people anymore, and that is a big problem with our state. An even bigger problem is these people can't see it - poor souls.
