Tim Havrilek is lying about Jack Conway not putting effort into communicating with Daniel Mongiardo or he’s been lied to. It’s Daniel Mongiardo being the douche hat. He failed to show at a scheduled meeting with the Governor. He fails to show up in Frankfort. He doesn’t return phone calls. And even his top people – Kim Geveden, Dick Prelopski, et al – have all met with Conway and moved on. I’ve even met with Kim Geveden and communicate with him on a regular basis, if that tells you anything. [Literally Lying?]
Like I told you yesterday, Daniel Mongiardo is lying about not having heard from Jack Conway. Jack may not be calling Lt. Dan every five minutes to chat about Twilight, but he’s put forth significant effort. [Page One]

Conway should forget Mongiardo and not waste any more time or energy on him.
Mongiardo will soon be forgotten altogether.
Conway needs to get out there in the state and let voters know who he is…Conway has the potential to be a star on his own and only diminishes appeal by hoping or expecting anything good from Mongiardo.

Conway cannot afford to “forget” Mongiardo. Mongiardo won approximately 80 counties. Leaving Jack with the other 40 or so.
Jack absolutely cannot win without Mongiardo’s support and campaign network. If its cost Jack $100k to get Mongiardos support and therefore his network, that will be the best money he spent.
Think about it, Mongiardo’s team and footsoldiers or spend a $100k on TV commercials in Louisville or Lexington. Which do you think would be a better use of his financial resources?
Conway is the Dem establishment candidate just like Grayson was. He will be hammered on that. So Davi is right, Conway needs to get out in the state and burn some shoe leather vs. sending out 10 emails a day saying he needs to raise X amount of dollars to beat Paul in this fundraising cycle.

Jack’s already tapped into Lt. Dan’s network via Dick & crew.
He just needs Lt. Dan to step up and endorse him – which Lt. Dan is being a WATB over.

Come on Jake, everyone knows Dick P and crew are at Dem party hdqtrs for only one purpose and one purpose only… To get Steve Beshear re-elected. Nothing else. Dick is not there to help the state Senators or Reps get re-elected. “It is only to benefit Beshear.
Beshear doesn’t want the Senate to go to Dem control because it gives him someone to blame for Kentucky’s woes. If Dems were in control he would have to exude leadership of which he is incapable.
Maybe I’m wrong, but we’ll see in the upcoming weeks. I hope you pay attention to what goes on at Party headquarters, that is if they can afford to pay the electric bill.
Dem leadership doesn’t want to control the Senate because they still got their projects, they still got to bring home the bacon and still get to blame Willaims for everything. They have it made, no leadership, still bring home the bacon and perpetually get re-elected.
What a F’n system we have. Its time for a takeover of the Democrat party, F- Steve Beshear, F – leadership, We need to do whats right for one time in our F’n lives.I’m so sick and tired of party leaders being such pussies when it comes to leading and taking on Williams.
Calming down now :)
No, one more thing… Can you explain to me how in the hell Johnny Ray Turner has a leadership position, he is convicted of buying votes… HOW?
Now I’m calming down :)

That’s not entirely true. Dick Prelopski went to Papaw a long time ago and told him that he wanted to be at the Party. No love lost between those two. Dick’s goal is to actually build a party – not just a machine that can get Beshear elected.
Papaw’s folks (Larry, Joe) did, however, install Logsdon – the major Republican donor – so he/they have complete control over what goes on. THAT’S why the Party will suffer.

So after a week or two will Dick be banging his head against the wall cause he can’t do anything without first getting approval from Beshear?
