Paulbots Love Them Some Internets Welfare

June 22nd, 2010 · 9 Comments

Oh, look, the Paulbots are using my audio and video without permission again.

This is pretty easy to understand:

If you’re swiping my videos, I *will* file copyright infringement complaints and eventually lawsuits. If you want to use my videos– even campaign commercials I post– contact me and ask for permission.

I obtain exclusive RIGHTS to publish the video clips I publish. Don’t infringe. Just ask nicely.

Here’s the latest from the Liberty Christ disciples, courtesy Joe:

Here’s my original material, which I crawled out of bed early on a cold ass day to obtain:

As most Paultards know, I readily give permission to use my shiz gratis when someone takes the time to ask.

Also, the LC disciples are hilarious with their videos.

UPDATE: Dear Paulbots…

Follow the rules. Wanna use my material? Ask for permission. I’m not difficult about it. I’d let you if you ask. Regardless of political bent.

If you were truly proud of your work, you wouldn’t worry about who uses it, you would simply want your work to live on. One day you’ll wise up!

    It’s not about pride.

It’s about getting my ass out of bed and doing the job.

If you want my shit? Ask for it.

The Paulbots will probably start a youtube page and start stealing your videos just to piss you off…?

Doesn’t piss me off. It’s a legal issue. And if the Paultards really want to help their man, they’ll ask for permission.

I don’t care if footage is used against Jack – at all. But you will ask for permission before using my crap.

The same goes for Jack’s folks. They wanna use my stuff, they’ll be asking for permission.

Attention Whore do you not understand the concept of theft? Stealing someone’s work is no different than stealing their wallet.

My husband said that the market will decide if we should use Jake’s footage or not. It is interesting that Jake claims to be about free speech but then wants copyright protection for his things. Jake doesn’t realize that under Rand’s law, his rights end whenever Rand thinks it should. The same deal applied when he used Rush’s horrible music to promote the campaign.

Can someone please tell my mom I’m okay and I am definitely NOT blinking SOS in my video.

Paul supporters should support his idea of private property rights by honoring the rights of others. It’s that simple…

It’s amazing how some peoople can’t grasp common courtesy.

    To review:

    1. Ask first.
    2. Say ‘thank you’
    3. Give credit, where credit is due.
    4. Say ‘thank you’ again (just to make sure)
    5. rinse, repeat

For the record: Someone finally got in touch asking for permission to use the footage and I gave it.
