McConnell, Bunning, Williams & Big Money

June 22nd, 2010 · 12 Comments

What do Mitch McConnell, Jim Bunning, Geoff Davis, Ed Whitfield, Hal Rogers, Brett Guthrie, David Williams and one of the ten largest banking groups in the state have in common?

They’re all sponsoring a fundraiser/reception for Rand Paul:

You going?

I hear Williams is merely supporting Paul because he wants something. That something is teabagger support for a different elected office.

You do know Williams was working behind the scenes in the primary for Paul, right?

You do know that Williams worked on behalf of Paul, despite his staffers’ protests, in order to secure support for something in the future, right?

I’ll bet it was Paul’s support for some future run, any takers?

If what Williams wants is help for a Governor’s race, all the tea-bags in China ain’t gonna get that done. Lawdy, Lawdy, the only worse bench than the Kentucky GOP belongs to the Baltimore Orioles, and even their starters SUCK!

david williams wants to run for governor and has reportedly tried and tried to get richie farmer to run with him as running mate. richie is reportedly considering running for gov himself but is reportedly worried about all that will come out (typical stuff that some allege about him-not showing up at work most of the 8 years, women, being really dumb, women, prescription issues (oxy). Former GOP official Ellen Williams has reportedly tried to get Richie to pick her as his running mate and even floated rumor that she’s going to be allegedly. She also reportedly courted Paul behind the scenes while telling Trey she was for him. Who knows?

I see they have golden, silver and bronze packages. Will each contributor be receiving a corresponding liberty medallion? I hear a golden liberty medallion is equal to 10,000 whore diamonds.

I read on Mother Jones that Conway got $9600 from BP. I have yet to hear him take any position different from Obama.

Dear Paulbot: As I’ve reported several times – even included video – those contributions came from Jack’s sister and brother-in-law.

The host list reads like a who’s who of Terry Forcht’s managers. The president of his company, his son-in-law, daughter, CFO, insurance group head and his chief marketing director.

Forcht is probably hosting the event because he lives in Williams district. I wonder how many employees he had to fire to save enough money to hold a Paul fundraiser. Anyone who tells employees that he sleeps well at night knowing he’s rich is not somebody you want to work for.

One thing is clear. If this guy gets elected, we’re all Forcht.
