Since Mainstreamers Are Waking Up From Naps

June 15th, 2010 · 7 Comments

Let’s take a look at some of our (recent) past stories about Rand Paul:

It’s a lot to digest, yes, but I’m sure this round-up will save a few of the mainstream folks from putting in actual effort.

Clarification: My remark about “waking up” was not directed at the Herald-Leader. But that’s the only outlet.

Um, why are you taking credit for M.R.’s work?

Hey, you don’t count in my criticism, DY! You actually do tremendous work, as I’ve said a bunch in the past.

I’ll try to post on this today. You should get credit. It’s pretty lame of these ‘news’ outlets to fail to credit their sources.

I’m not focusing on (at least with this post) folks not properly crediting…

Just getting at the fact that many mainstreamers outside of the H-L are just now taking note of information uncovered ages ago and they’re acting like it’s fresh and new.

So let me get this straight-

According to Paul himself, 50% of his medical income is the result of Medicare and Medicaid billing; and that is only 1/3 of what he billed the United States government.

This leads me to the following, reasonable questions –

*Does Paul only recieve 1/3 in payment because the other 2/3 are faudulent overcharges?

*If not, then why does Capitalist Dr. Ayn Rand Paul continue to accept this as 50% of his buisness, if he could bill fully by not accepting Medicare or Medicaid patients?

*We KNOW Paul is not a humanitarian- so something fishy is going on here if Dr. ‘Leave-BP-Alone’ Paul is statified with 1/3 of what he bills.

Given these facts a cynical person might suspect that Paul’s billing may not be accurate, to his own economic advantage.

Any idea why this is happening?
