You Should Read Rand Paul’s Lips

May 28th, 2010 · 7 Comments

Rand Paul, in his own words, in an October 28, 2003 letter to the editor appearing in the Kentucky Post:

“Politics 101: The closer you get to an election, the closer you should scrutinize all candidates’ promises.  Or, “read my lips” but also watch my hands as I may lift your wallet while simultaneously promising not to steal.

Politicans are notorious for easy and sometimes glib promises before elections, followed by slippery retractions and explanations afterward.”

And how.

Schadenfreude:

You Gay Muslim Communist Nazis JUST DON’T GET IT!!!

Real Americans are now paying attention (American Idol is over) and taking this country back!

Those comments attributed to Dr. Paul don’t apply to Dr. Paul because he is on the side of God.

Read your Constitution. God wrote it has the post-script to the Bible for a reason.

Keep spinning that. Because I’m sure it’s possible to let them have a bigger rate increase.

And since so many Pauls have petroleum industry ties… it makes tons of sense to attack the natural gas industry.

How about a new national anthem for the libertarian paradise upon which we’re all supposedly about to embark upon?

Here’s my suggestion: Livin’ La Vida Loco

Wow. Might we see a Alan Grayson/Alan Keyes Presidential run. If Jake and Lisa become friends I think you two could broker the deal.

@Lisa. We already have a national anthem under Libertarianism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOjfbmmtGLQ&feature=related

Jack gets campaign funds from BP, you don’t have to speculate about potential ties to the business employing his sister’s husband’s contractors.
