Openly gay 24-year-old Matthew Vanderpool won the 45th House district Democratic primary and goes on to face Stan Lee in the fall:

Stan Lee?! I love Stan Lee. Although his writing on Avengers and Fantastic Four hasn’t aged that well, it’s still fun reading. I never realized he was also a politician in Kentucky.
Hmmmmm…..maybe I’m thinking of a different Stan Lee.

Go read the young man’s web site and his statements on the FreedomWorks site and you will not be so thrilled with his position. Blue Dog DINO with some progressive positions but others way conservative.

(I featured him so folks would discover on their own that he’s obviously going to lose hard… and because he’s aligned with the faux gay rights group that had its rear end handed to it by the Attorney General…)
