The New York Whore Times has mostly forgotten about the Democrats, as well. Because there’s obviously not a DEM-SEN race in Kentucky. [NY Times]

Don’t get your femminazi panties in a twist, Terri.

I’m talking about people who make excuses for not considering adoption, really. Not folks who physically cannot get pregnant. Just those who complain that they can’t/won’t consider other options.

Wow. Thanks for pointing this out! I hadn’t heard that about the revised adoption tax credit/refund– and few people understand/understood this distinction.

Aside from singles, you have to be well into the middle-class before you pay any federal “income taxes”. Thus, an adoption tax credit was of no use to those people.

But all the while, those people are getting nailed by massive federal payroll taxes on their income. Now, the adoption refund– in essence– acts as a credit against your federal income or federal payroll taxes.

You still need the cash up-front for an adoption. But the length of time until the credit/refund rolls in is now much shorter for those with relatively modest means.

    “Prison Blues in ‘Bama”

le gardien, we need to send RF a CD of Johnny Cash’s “Chain Gang”: “Lord, deliver me from this hole/Before I lose my mind and soul.” But RF will need to sweat profusely and say, “Jeeezusss, I have sinned. Please forgive my sins against all the innocents.”
