Rand Paul Discriminates Against The Disabled

May 17th, 2010 · 18 Comments

Rand Paul is fine with openly discriminating against those with disabilities but is afraid to talk about the 2nd amendment?

Nice.

What was that again, teabaggers, about Rand being willing to answer all questions?

Rand Paul and his supporters believe in your freedom to agree with him.

Ouch. So he’s for states making their own laws instead of the federal government mandates. That’s harsh he believes in the constitution and the 10th amendment.

This guy will get crushed in the fall. He also told the CJ in their editorial board interview that if a business wants to discriminate based on race, religion or ethnicity it’s up to them. They can do whatever they. Want no government should tell them otherwise. Good lord is the GOP really going to put up this guy?

    Laughing.

I agree Tony. Kentucky has never voted for anyone that the Progressives see as crazy or fringe. They always lean toward more liberal leaning thinking progressives like Jim Bunning and Dan Mongiardo.

His point was if youre a business owner and someone in a wheel chair wants a job he would rather see them hire them for a job on the first floor as opposed to having to install elevators to accommodate them only so they could work on the other floors of a building. He was just using this as an example of some potential problems and was being honest and candid.

maybe you would prefer Trey who tells CJ of course he would of voted for civil rights act but not for rights of gays and couldnt give any sort of principled reason why.

And the 2nd amendment question was bogus… do you think americans have a right to violently overthrow the government? is that what was asked?

and about your comment on his answer in the CJ editorial… if a business owner is a racist and doesnt want to hire blacks or w/e then really why would they want to work there to begin with, you libs think youre so smart you forget the basics of common sense. Sure we can use govt force to make the employer hire them but that just creates a whole new set of problems. As long as the rules are fair for everyone I dont see a problem. If a asian business owner doesnt want to hire whites or if a mexican business owner doesnt want to hire blacks fine. Let the customers decide whether or not to patronize the establishment.

and for the record I think racism is abhorrent, but I live in reality not some progressive lala land where I think you can legislate away racism. Many of the ideals of progressives seem great, but then you realize we dont live in fairy tale land and the world is composed of limited resources. The one system of resource allocation which produces the most aggregate utility in a society is free market capitalism. A cornerstone of which is private property rights.

You know, I often wonder if Paulbots are mentally retarded or just so high on the MJ that they are incapable of grasping reality.

    Maybe both?

The general election will be fun.

Jake I agree. We should really expose the Paulbots for being retarded. How dare they put their Constitution on us. Seriously, this country was founded on the principle that the Federal government should trump all state laws and that the states are too dumb to think for themselves. We should really abolish state laws and let the sane rationale of the DEA, FDA, DHS, FEMA and other federal agencies do all the regulating. Lord knows those departments are more efficient than local control.

Good job Jake in exposing people who disagree with our views as retarded, even if they are principled in their convictions.

Aw, the Paul campaign staffers are coming out of the woodwork to tell us why the Americans with Disabilities Act should be nixed.

    Keep telling us why.

Jake, most paultards I’ve spoken to think the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments were mistakes and should be repealed.

Of course, they won’t *say* they believe in slavery; they hide behind the “it should be left up to the states.”

Rand Paul: ‘Who cares about your cripple kids and dotarding old grandman’.

Yeah, that’s gonna sell in November.

The average voter probably doesn’t know much about what all the Americans with Disabilities Act entails. But, once you explain to them that this is the law that made businesses become handicap accessible, they get it. And, once you explain to them that Rand Paul is opposed to this, they’ll get that too.

    This blog is a joke!

    You heard it here first.

Hey Jake, You are calling people retarded while you are complaining about people being against the american disability act. Are retarded people disabled? You may be able to explain this juvenile expression to me.

  • 16 jake // May 18, 2010 at 2:15 pm

    Mentally retarded people are disabled.

Retarded people like Paultards? Not so much. Marijuana doesn’t tend to disable anybody.

    Hey Jim,

We’ll put a picture up of a Afghan/Iraqi War Vet in wheelchair in outside of a building he can’t get into and then you can have Randy explain why it’s really okay.
