Daniel Mongiardo’s attacks are empty and dirty. Even the librul devil newspaper knows that much. [C-J]

This Rentboy thing from Colbert is maybe the funniest moment of the week. Good Christians always ask ‘WBWJR’? What Boy Would Jesus Rent? [HuffPo]

MSNBC has adopted the role of stenography service. [First Read]

The Courier-Journal endorsed teabaggers Brian Simpson and Ed Springston. Is this a sign of hilarity to come? [C-J]

Sometimes teabagger candidates do embarrassing things like congratulate the losing candidate in an email blast. [The 'Ville Voice]

Jack Conway has a better shot at beating Rand Paul than does Daniel Mongiardo. [PPP]

Hotline apparently ranked Mitch McConnell’s endorsement of Trey Grayson. Even though that endorsement doesn’t matter. [Bluegrass Politics]

U.S. Senate candidates will meet tonight for a debate in Paducah. Jack Conway’s campaign is set to ask Lt. Dan all kinds of questions, including: Why does Lt. Dan insist on collecting a full-time $141,000 salary when he refuses to come to work? Why didn’t Lt. Dan stand up as a state senator and vote against a backdoor pension bonus that could only potentially benefit himself and his colleagues at the taxpayers’ expense? How long as Lt. Dan been renting the tenant house and personally profiting from a property that taxpayers have helped pay for? What benefits did the people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky reap from the $57,000 in travel expenses Lt. Dan incurred by staying in luxury hotels and eating steak and crème brûlée dinners over the past two years? How did Lt. Dan’s attendance at a convention in Las Vegas help Kentucky families? Can you believe people are still giving money to Heather French Henry’s fake veterans foundation which was caught up in Steve Henry’s campaign finance corruption scheme? [State Journal Stenography Service]

Actually, Andy, you couldn’t be further from reality. There is no budget agreement in Frankfort. State legislators have no idea what’s going on. The Senate leadership is playing pat-a-cake. Greg Stumbo and crew are playing the role of WATB. The governor’s office is adrift, worrying about what the state things of papaw. As someone who has been inside the capitol and annex recently, I know these legislators are in Frankfort. And they’re doing nothing. Literally nothing. [Kentucky Club For Disconnection]

You have labeled me a “teabagger”? Its difficult to attend any meetings that groups are present at to meet and not be labeled..something. You know I deserve better then that Jake!

Don’t run from it – embrace your friendship with and appreciation of FRANK SIMON.

if you spent more time actually getting to know me and not who sponsers functions, you would see that i run from no one. I have accepted no money, i attend events to have the opportunity to speak in front of voters, you cant deny the importance of those opportunitys. Your difference of opinions is with Dr Simon, not me Jake and you know that. Why you cant or wont try to work behind the scene against Clark with me still is amazing to this day. Dislike me for “whatever” reason, but we do share a common goal there…why make it harder? How does that benefit you or this state?

Uh, actually, when a candidate for State House pals around with Frank Simon? That’s bad news bears. Actions speak loudly when you’re a candidate. And when you’re running against a DEMOCRAT? You can’t say you’re not a bigot and then associate with the city’s most high-profile bigot.

That said – behind the scenes on Larry? Why work privately against Larry when it’s best to be out in the open? I just won’t be supporting anybody who thinks it’s appropriate to associate with Frank Simon.

You should be more than ashamed than you’ll be when you lose to Larry.
