TGIF! It’s Oaks Day & No One Is Likely Reading

April 30th, 2010 · 3 Comments

Trey Grayson said in a letter to the Courier-Journal that he didn’t want the paper’s endorsement. But that’s not what he told the editorial board – on video – just a few weeks ago.  Who is making these silly mistakes for Trey?  Why doesn’t he have competent people to give him advice?  Goodness. Yes, the Western Kentucky mine accident is sickening, and even more so by the lack of real coverage by our media.

Derby week is made of nothing but sweetness and light (and bourbon and $$$$). Do we sell our souls to help the state bring in the $$ so desperately needed and make light of this tragedy?

No doubt our Sen. McConnell is in town with his wife, the former Secy of Labor to host the famous and infamous for the Derby. And of course, they’ve gone to the mining community in Webster Co. to express their concern and vow to help prevent this sort of thing happening again by enforcing and shoring up safety standards?

Trey’s campaign is a joke! For months, he refused to put any issues on his website, then, presto he had the same issues as Rand Paul.

His campaign has been, “I’m not Rand Paul.” I doubt that will win the election!

The AOC laid off a number of people today. I’m not sure of how many exactly but I know they got rid of about half of what was left of their Records department (the department that actually brings in money). Another department took a hit too, I hear, but I’m not sure which one it is.
