How much has the Legislative Research Commission spent on printing legislative citations and the postage it takes to mail them each of the past five legislative sessions?
All year long the LRC is popping out citations to every kid who graduates from high school… and to everybody who has a birthday or wedding anniversary or whatever.
It gets our screwed up legislature tons of good will, but at what cost to the taxpayer?
How much is Kentucky actually spending on the whole shebang?

It’s the peoples government and they like being recognized by it. These things really mean a lot to a lot of folks. Whatever the cost, it’s minimal and worth it.

So… it’s worth spending all kinds of cash to send citations to graduates of kindergarten, 5th grade and 8th grade every year, as well?
