I support equality for LGBT individuals. For example, I am for the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in the military. I agree with Secretary Gates that it’s the right thing to do as a matter of “common sense and common decency.”
In contrast, my opponent, Daniel Mongiardo successfully led the effort to pass a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage in Kentucky. He even ran on it in 2004. You can see his ad here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbKX6OZFp1E
