Mitch McConnell Spinning on Reconciliation

March 18th, 2010 · 7 Comments

Here’s Mitch McConnell on ABC’s This Week on March 7th. Forgot to originally post it the next day:

The fearmongering is ripe. Never mind that Americans will see immediate relief if health care reform is passed.

Name one thing McConnell said that was factually incorrect. In the meantime President Obama has said again that this” bill “will be posted on the internet for all to see. He tinks we’re tupid.

Save the baby talk for Vitter, BB.

Vitter has diapers, we’re not so lucky when The One starts his magic talk. So when can I read the “plan” on the tubes, bs?

Anyone supporting a health care bill that hasn’t been read and reviewed carefully must either be nuts, ignorant or willing to be led down the primrose path for life. Probably all three.

Yeah, all of a sudden these things matter. How’s that primrose path to Iraq you so willingly skipped down? Don’t stop to smell the flowers or vote, you may get blowed the hell up.

“Our Mission Is to Go to War”

    Bush is a war criminal:
You are so right. On the question of starting the Iraq war, only about a half dozen members of Congress said they actually read the “intelligence” report (all of 70 pages or so) on Iraq before casting their “let’s go to war” vote. When will Congress ever do its tasks with any sense of due diligence and accountability? They are a human symbol of the sign “zero.”
