Yesterday I told you about Rand Paul/David Adams pulling their latest teabagger/Quitter Sarah Palin stunt. Apparently it’s cool to bail on a formal debate and then just cold make shiz up. The comments section has been on fire for the past 24 hours.
Fast forward to late last night/early this morning when David Adams posted this on Facebook:

So what changed? What was so terrible that Ayn Rand and David “Scorched Earth” Adams had to full-on quit like Sarah the Snowbilly? Reality set in, apparently.
The first letter candidates received was just a save-the-date and contained no details of format or discussion. And here’s what came on February 18th:
The Public Forum Format is outlined below:
- One-minute introductory statements by each candidate
- A series of questions as to which each candidate will have one minute to respond. After each candidate has responded, there will be an untimed period in which candidates can react to the responses of other candidates, or the moderator can follow-up with questions for particular candidates. Assuring equal time and fairness of opportunity during this period will be up to the moderator. The goal is to have as balanced, free-flowing, and informative an exchange as possible.
- One-minute closing statements by each candidate.
Apparently the Paulbots don’t want balanced, free-flowing and open discussion. Guess it would be terrible for Rand to face questions from his opponents – how scary!
Whiny ass titty babies unite.
In related news: Rand Paul was scheduled to speak at the Daviess County Republican Women’s luncheon yesterday. David Adams committed to the group more than a month ago. (Johnson was last month and Grayson is scheduled for next month, so all candidates get equal access to the group)
But a Paul Campaign staffer called just before the event to say Ayn Rand had a “conflict” in Louisville, that the only option was to send his wife. All this came, of course, after the Paul Camp spent weeks telling supporters that he’d be there and that they’d get face time as a thank-you for all the hard work.

Unfortunately for Rand, his internets schedule showed he didn’t have to be in Louisville until 3:00 P.M. Eastern. The event in Owensboro was scheduled at 11:30 A.M. Central. So that story is just that – a story.

Notice how Adams didn’t specify that “other” Louisville forum Rand would deign to attend? Yeppers, this could easily be a two thousand vote fuck-up for the Paulster.

As per usual, David Adams thinks it’s all about David Adams.

It appears a Grayson donor/friend is in charge of this debate… can we say biased?

Are all Paultards just plain retarded? Smoked too much weed? What?

Hey AttentionWhore,
Trey Grayson had no problem attending the Paducah debate which was set up by known Paultards.
In fact, you can find the organizers in all their Paultard glory here: http://conservativehippiechick.blogspot.com/
Why doesn’t Rand Paul man up and stop picking on 85 year old women and participate in the debate?

No, I think the Paultards don’t trust the establishment. This clearly was the establishment sitting up their boy Trey for a photo-op.
Remember Adams isn’t a Paultard so he probably was slow to pick up on the establishment trap.
If you google this lady Randy doesn’t like that donated to Grayson. Besides her being a Grayson donor, you’ll find she was one of the establishment that went to the RNC with Trey in 2008. You ‘ll also find she never misses a derby and always have 450 bucks for a new hat!

You don’t get to have your cake and eat it, too.
So which is it? Is he a Paultard or isn’t he? David is no spring chicken and didn’t fall off any truck recently. If he was backing out – and not playing petty, bitter politics which he doth protest – because a contributor to Grayson was involved in a forum that asked all candidates the same questions and gave them opportunities to respond, then, uh, I’m pretty darn sure David would have and could have done so a couple months ago?

If you think a moderator is biased, that’s not an excuse to back out. You do the debate anyways. There will never be any debate or discussion if everyone backed out of a debate when terms weren’t friendly towards them. Complete impartiality is a myth. He couneeds a better scheduler. Whoever thought 2 and a half hours was enough time to give a speech and drive from Owensboro to Louisville isn’t being very realistic.

Jake,
I consider a Paultard a blind follower of Ron Paul. I’m pretty sure David Adams is a Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney type.

When will folks understand Paul is as much establishment, if not more, than Grayson. They just come from different establishments. Grayson comes from the establishment of civil discussion and civic duty (as evidenced by his involvement in numerous charitable and community organizations). Paul comes from a chip-on-the-shoulder establishment that fears everyone and a network which his father has cultivated for decades.

Further – if they thought the moderator was biased? They could have made precautionary statements during the event to prevent any problems.

If candidates are supposed to avoid forums with perceived bias, then Republicans would never sit for interviews with the C-J and H-L editorial boards.

Sad sad sad…a plethora of candidates for senator, mayor and governor of the great commonwealth of Kentucky and there isn’t a set of balls between ‘em.
Candidates of reason and intelligence show up every chance they get. Weak puppets use excuses to avoid real debate.
Nothing to see here. Move on.
