More On That Fancy U.S. Senate Poll

March 9th, 2010 · 8 Comments

From WHAS11 the other day:

Reminder to U.S. Senate candidates: Steve Henry was only up in the gubernatorial primary polls – a different beast – until news broke that he was up a campaign finance creek. MONTHS before the primary, not mere weeks. No allegations, no whispers, just solid information about the hot mess on his hands. Unless you have proof of something similar involving Rand Paul and Daniel Mongiardo, you ought not compare your race to that scenario.

If you’re really working hard? Don’t let us find out from your campaign staff that you’re only working three or four hours a day.

Oh, and Jack? Running a positive campaign? Go ahead and drop out now. You’re done if that’s the case. Because your opponent isn’t running a positive campaign. Playing nice isn’t going to work. It’s why you lost your congressional race. It’s why Bruce Lunsford lost in 2008. It’s why Trey Grayson’s losing right now. And it’s why you’re going to lose in May unless you turn things around post-Riddle.

Those bags under Jack’s eyes could also be explained by a new baby. Maybe if he was spending more time out in motel rooms across Kentucky he could at least get a good night’s sleep? PS Those home-base Louisville numbers for Conway are anemic.

Not near a puter… so… gotta clarify via phone: the ‘not working’ bit wasn’t directed at any candidate in particular, so stop getting your manties in a wad, folks.

… Except it totally was directed towards Jack Conway.

Nope, directed toward at least three candidates who aren’t Ro… er, Rand Paul.

I disagree. As far as Trey is running, he is doing it in a negative way. He attacks Rand Paul before he would tell you what he is actually for.

Reality: David Adams has bee bashing Trey for months everywhere he goes.

Daddy’s boy playing nice? I thought he was one tough sumbitch.

    Yeah, sure.
