What’s that? Massey Coal King Don Blankenship is on the Twitter machine?
Let’s take a look at some of the things he’s had to say recently…

Is it really wise for King Coal to address domestic violence? It was just a couple months ago when the industry’s spokesperson was in trouble for beating his wife in a parking lot.

Alert! Global warming is a hoax and a ponzi scheme! Haha. Hahahaha.
Peep some additional King Coal fun times after the jump…

Who wants to take on addressing the fearmongering, threats and violence rolling out of King Coal’s world?

He’s right about needing more truth tellers. The world really does need more people to refute coal barons.
The cake taker?

Obviously involves attacking Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for having the gall to develop solar energy in one of the areas of the United States where it’s viable.
Before anybody accuses me of being unfair? King Coal is free to advertise here and on our network of websites to get their point of view out, if they wish.
Sadly, it’s ignorance like the mess from Blankenship above that prevents any sort of coming to jeebus moment for both sides. At a time in America’s history when environmentalists, anti-mountaintop removal folks and King Coal could be coming to the table to discuss amicable and workable solutions? We’ve got poop-throwers like this who continue to muddy the slurry pond of ideas.
There’s no reason coal couldn’t figure out a way to appease 90% of critics – without spending much money – but it’ll never happen while this crap’s going on.

“Slurry ponds of ideas” hilarious! the coal companies do interchange “ash landfill”, “slurry pond”, “sludge pond”… so i don’t know which one to go with. Sludge sounds the worst.
