Both of these involve none other than Larry Clark.
I hear Carl Rollins is nervous because he faces an opponent. I thought that could be why he refuses to hear Joni Jenkins meal plan bill. But then I realized the people in his district probably overwhelmingly support her legislation. Then I heard that both Larry Clark and Jim Ramsey have allegedly pressured Rollins to prevent him from hearing the bill in committee. And we all know that having leadership breathing down your neck is a surefire way to get you to listen. I’ve asked Rep. Jenkins about this situation but she still hasn’t gotten back to me with a response.
And on the Alicia Sells front… the hot gossip in Frankfort is that Larry Clark lost his shiz with Ramsey when he (Clark) found out that Sells had been fired. So the big rumor is that Clark is responsible for Sells’ big payoff. (No worries – I’m betting Jenkins won’t talk to me about this one, either.)

I don’t know what you call it, but the strong-arming has gotta stop.

I say Ramsey is bullet proof…
I believed from the git that JR would ensure that this bill never got out of committee…
HB 305 never had a chance…

I was near Clark a few weeks ago, about ten feet away. Afterwards, I felt dirty like I needed to take a long, hot shower.
