Things are so bad in the Commonwealth of Kentucky that I believe Steve Beshear should issue the following statement. A retraction of yesterday’s news, of sorts:
“We were wrong. In fact, your power, water, roads and schools will all be closing effective July 1.”

Maybe we could also mortgage our playgrounds and parking lots.
